Owl Activities for Schools & Groups
The Barn Owl Centre has over a 20 years experience working with children aged from 4 years upwards.
We work with Schools, Colleges, Children's Groups & with families who encourage their children to develop an interest in and learn about Owls, Birds of Prey & Wildlife.
We aim to support schools in meeting their objectives under the National Curriculum & educating children on Owls & their Conservation.
We have 2 options below for you to choose from that help cater for smaller or larger groups.
Interactive Hand's-on Experience
Here we offer up to a 2 hour Owl Experience where children from the age of 4years can fly trained Owls to the gloved hand whilst learning all about them. During a visit, all children will also be able to see a variety of species ranging from Owls, Hawks, Falcons & a majestic Golden Eagle.
Option 1 - Price for Small Groups
£150 for a group size of 8 to 10 children, includes 2 adults free.
When the group of children exceed 10, please see option 2
Option 2 - Price for Large Groups
£15 per child for group sizes over 10 children, includes 1 adult per 5 children free.
Additional adults priced at £15 per adult

During your visit, we will not open to the public which means that our attention is purely focused on your visit, great for the children & very supportive to teachers that come with them.
We have a 12 acre Farm with nature trails for the children to relax and explore
Weekdays Only - We sometimes can be flexible during afternoons & early evenings, based on availability
We have Easy Coach Parking
We are a disabled friendly Centre
Your visit & the funds raised is very supportive to the birds plus it supports our Charity, which is dedicated to Education, Conservation & Bird Welfare.
